Professional Judging
The best of the best are throwing down at Top Taco Festival 2025! At the suggestion of participants, we hold a blind professional judging for all categories to go along with our People’s Choice Vote.
We will provide you with 4 - 6” round compostable plates to use for plating your dishes for the judges (and compostable cups if you are taking part in the cocktail competition). To identify your entry, please check your assigned number written on the bottom of each plate/cup.
All four separate plates (and cups) should be prepared & taken to the voting area for Round 1 of judging. We will provide a map and will discuss the judging area location at the mandatory restaurant meeting.
If your dish is selected to move into the Finals, you will be notified and asked to bring a second duplicate set of 4 servings to the Judging Area.
People’s Choice
Attendees can vote for the People’s Choice winner in each category via their mobile phones using QR codes. A QR code for the voting site will be printed on each banner. (This QR code is not restaurant specific.) Be sure to remind attendees to cast their votes throughout the evening!
ALL VOTING WILL END AT 9:00pm.
Top Taco Festival 2025 Winners will be announced on the Main Stage at 9:30pm! Please be sure to send some staff to the announcements so they can alert the team if you win!
