MANDATORY SPONSOR MEETING

During this call you will:

  • Receive detailed load in/load out instructions

  • Receive blind judging information (time slot, number and drop off location)

  • Confirm power needs

  • Meet with Health Department representative and get all of the info for our Zero Waste program

  • Ask any questions you have prior to the big event!

Directions to site
Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park is conveniently located in Downtown Denver. From I-25, go south on Speer Boulevard (Exit Speer South) then turn right onto Elitch Circle.

Staff may also arrive via RTD bus or Light Rail. Both options have stops at Elitch Gardens.

Ride share (Lyft/Uber) drop off is also available near the main entrance to the park.

 

Vendor/Staff Parking & Entrance

Vendor/Staff parking is available on the west side of the Elitch Gardens parking lot. You will be provided 2 parking passes in your vendor packet upon load in.

Vendor/Staff entrance is located at the Southwest corner of the staff lot. Staff wristbands are required for entry.

Please have staff carpool or use Ride Share/Light Rail as space is limited.

LOAD IN/LOAD OUT MAPS

ALL SPONSORS LOAD IN WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28th

  • MAIN LOAD IN

    All sponsors/vendors will load in through the main entrance on Wednesday, August 28th between 10am-5pm unless otherwise specified by festival staff.

    Please let parking attendants know you are loading in for Chicken Fight and they will direct you to turn right upon entry. Follow the road to the load in gate, turn right once you pass through the gate and follow signs into the Arena. Please unload items and move your car to vendor parking lot keep lanes clear.

  • SOUTH GATE

    Designated sponsors (large activations & those located in the Pavilions) will load in through the South Gate of the park on Wednesday, August 28th.

    From I-25S, take exit 211 for 23rd Ave toward 20th Ave. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Bryant St/Mile High Stadium Cir and turn left. Turn left on W Colfax Ave/Old West Colfax Ave and continue onto Walnut Street. Turn left into Elitch Gardens usage road and follow signs past Human Resources to South Gate. Staff will direct you from there.

Load In / Load Out

  • ALL SPONSORS MUST LOAD IN ON Wednesday, August 28th between 10am - 5pm.

    Sponsors will be sent their designated Load In location based on their festival placement (see above maps for options and reach out to Kyanne with any questions). Upon arrival you will pick up your vendor packet and a festival representative will direct you to your space. Please bring your own dolly to unload cars and take equipment to your booth. We will have volunteers and staff on site to help with carts if needed.

    Chicken Fight gates open at 5:00pm on Thursday, August 29th. ALL BOOTHS MUST BE SET UP AND READY TO GO BY 4:00PM.

    Elitch Gardens will be secure overnight, but please be sure you do not leave personal items on Wednesday evening. DiningOut Events is not responsible for any items left unattended at your booth prior, during, or after the festival.

  • Load out will take place after the event and can continue on Friday morning, August 30th.

    If you are planning on picking up items Friday morning, please clean and pack up your space on Thursday evening before leaving. You are responsible for disposing of any trash and picking up all items from your booth.

    Any items left in your space after 12pm Friday (trash or otherwise) will be discarded and you will be charged a cleaning fee.

    Please let your staff know so that they can plan accordingly. Our staff will be working hard to break down the festival, so please help us make the load out process as easy as possible!

Equipment

    • Two Tables (front with linen + back as a prep area)

    • Standard Sponsor Banner (unless you have a branded tent)

    • Optional tent rentals (prices based on size)

    • Ice and volunteer ice runners

    Please leave your tables and linen at your space for event staff to collect at the end of the evening.

    • 1,500 Samples

    • 5 staff to distribute samples & interact with attendees

    • Fun booth decor

    • Compostable sample cups (9oz or smaller)

    • Gloves, hand washing station (if creating a cocktail, handling ice, or fruit)

    • EXTENSION CORDS

  • IF YOU ARE MAKING A COCKTAIL AT YOUR BOOTH (WHICH MEANS HANDLING ICE AND/OR CUTTING FRUIT), YOU MUST PROVIDE:

    • 5 gallon cambro

    • Catch bucket for under the cambro for gray water

    • Floating Thermometer to make sure water is at 110 degrees

    • Plastic Gloves

    We will have heating coils available to bring your water to the correct temperature.

    The Health Department will be inspecting all booths and will not allow your to serve without all above items. Please let us know if you have questions prior to festival week.
